A closure planned for Thane Road will for Saturday has been canceled.

The closure was scheduled for 3-5 p.m. on April 3, Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities said in a news release. However, it was later announced the closure had been scrapped because of weather conditions.

The road has been closed several times this year to allow for similar mitigation operations.
