Gov. Mike Dunleavy will give the first ever virtual State of the State address from his office in Anchorage this evening.

Ordinarily, the speech is delivered to a joint session of the Alaska State Legislature, but due to the pandemic, this year’s speech will be delivered by video both online and on TV.

Dunleavy will highlight the need to guarantee the PFD for future generations, Alaska’s ability to be self-reliant, energy independent, maximize every opportunity and potential to be a sovereign within the United States, according to a video released Thursday morning.
