City and Borough of Juneau will distribute free cloth face masks Thursday, Aug. 6, and Friday, Aug.7, the city announced.

Two masks will be distributed per person and people can pick up masks for their household, the city said in a news release. The masks are provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, according to the city.

Masks will be distributed 3-6 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m.-noon on Friday at Mendenhall Valley Public Library, Juneau Police Department Station, Gruening Park, Marine Park, Savikko Park Shelter No. 1 and Glacier Valley Elementary-Sít’ Eetí Shaanáx.
