The Juneau Police Department on Wednesday requested the public’s help locating a Juneau resident who failed to report to the probation office as court ordered.

In a Facebook post, police said the probation conditions for Brian Kelly Hogan, 36, stem from a prior conviction for third-degree assault related to domestic violence. That 2015 case involved allegations of lighting his girlfriend on fire with a bowl of acetone she was using to remove her fingernail polish.

Hogan has a history of convictions out of state, including rape, trespassing, probation violations, providing liquor and controlled substances to a minor, and criminal mischief among others.

If anyone has information on Hogan, they are urged by the JPD to contact dispatch at (907) 586-0600 or make an anonymous tip through the Juneau Crimeline.
