The USCGC Kukui, a Coast Guard seagoing buoy tender, will be open Wednesday for public tours from 1-4 p.m.

The ship is moored at Coast Guard Station Juneau downtown. The ship is in Juneau for the annual Buoy Tender Roundup, a once yearly training event and competition for Coast Guard buoy tender crews in the region.

Anyone wanting to visit the ship should have a photo ID. The Kukui is homeported in Sitka.
