Over a dozen Juneau tennis players visited Whitehorse, Yukon, last weekend for the annual Capital Cup tennis tournament.

The three-day competition pit 16 Juneau players against 30 Whitehorse players in close to 80 shortened singles and doubles matches. Whitehorse held a 464-415 edge in total games (first side to reach eight games wins the match), and was declared winner of the competition.

Juneau’s top performers included Art Dee (58 games), Preecha Nick Pongphai (57 games) and Abby O’Brien (45 games).
