It’s going to be a luge deal.

There will be Juneau 4-H luge sledding at Eaglecrest 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Christmas Day.

The event is open to everyone 10 years and older, including childless adults.

Participants should dress warmly with gloves instead of mittens, bring a ski helmet, goggles and flexible boots. Sledders will need to be ready for a workout because they will have to hike back to the top in order to sled down again.

Sledders will meet at the base of Muskeg, between the lodges, or they can walk up the Porcupine lift run area known as the beach.
