Learn how to identify birds in winter

Many local birds have new, winter plumage, and Juneau Audubon Society wants to enable folks to pick out the new-look birds.
Juneau Audubon Society will deliver a lecture about identifying birds with winter plumage at 7 p.m. Thursday at University of Alaska Southeast’s Egan Library, Room 112, 11120 Glacier Highway.
The talk is free and open to the public.
