The Canvas Community Art Studio & Gallery is holding its annual fundraising dinner this Saturday, Jan. 27 from 6-9 p.m.

There will be live music by Tom Locher, a silent auction, dinner and dessert. The silent auction features a weekend getaway including lodging to Tenakee from Alaska Seaplanes, a tour of the Alaska-Juneau Mine for two, a Winter Romance Package at Pearson’s Pond, original art by local artists, a glacier adventure by NorthStar Trekking, and more.

V’s Cellar Door is providing a Korean ribs dinner with a vegetarian option; Pie in the Sky is making dessert. Alaskan Brewing Company is donating beer, and Duck Creek Market, the wine. Attendees will also receive a complimentary, handcrafted plate by Ceramic Studio Manager Alex Botelho.

“Based on a design by the late Mark Davis, this is a very special souvenir to commemorate this year’s event,” Joann Flora, REACH’s fund development director, said via email.

Tickets are $60 each and available online at canvasarts.org.
