Bookmark Contest winners announced

The Juneau Public Libraries celebrated the Bookmark Contest in November, a favorite with Juneau kids. This is sponsored each year by the Friends of the Juneau Public Libraries.

A panel of volunteer judges reviewed 1,593 entries and chose one winner and two honorable mentions for each grade level, preschool through eighth grade. Children received gift certificates generously donated by The Amazing Bookstore and Hearthside Books. Printed bookmarks are available at any public library.

Preschool Winner: Riley Moy
