Domestic violence

• At 6:01 p.m. Tuesday, a 55-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.

Fraud

• At 12:25 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a forged check and theft of $8,879.39 from the 500 block of Franklin Street.

Fire and medical

• On Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to four EMS calls, an active smoke detector on Lone Wolf Drive, a medical transport call, and a call at 12:22 p.m. to stand by at the airport for a plane with landing gear problems; the plane landed without incident.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 10:31 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a damage-only crash in the 3000 block of Riverwood Drive.

Theft

• At 4:09 p.m. Monday, a 59-year-old man reported a theft in the 7200 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a bicycle theft in the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Vehicle fire

• At 2:30 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a vehicle fire on Mill Street.

Vehicle rifling

• At 11 a.m. Tuesday, a 26-year-old man reported his vehicle was rifled in the 300 block of Ninth Street.

Welfare check

• At 4 p.m. Monday, JPD conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of Fourth Street. Alcohol was involved.
