Fairbanks teenager dies in Steese Highway rollover crash

FAIRBANKS — A Fairbanks teenager died Tuesday when the compact car she was driving left the roadway and rolled along the Steese Highway.

Alaska State Troopers said 17-year-old Morgan Fisk died near Mile 48.

Troopers responded to the crash at about 5 a.m.

Fisk was driving with another teen, 17-year-old-old Tessa Eickholt.

Fisk was ejected in the rollover. Troopers say she died as emergency responders transported her to a hospital.

Troopers are investigating the crash.
