Big Lake man dies in single-car crash east of Palmer

PALMER — A Big Lake man is dead after a single-car crash west of Palmer.

Alaska State Trooper said 50-year-old William Wallace died Monday morning in a crash off North Stringfield Road.

Troopers took a call on the crash just before 5:30 a.m.

Investigators said Wallace’s vehicle rolled multiple times and went airborne.

He was not wearing a seat belt.

Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
