Afternoon Performances

Heaven Bound, noon.

Tim Pepper, 12:15 p.m. Folk with 90s and Indy influence.

The Girl from the North Country, 12:30 p.m. Eleven year old Sophia is back for her second AFF. She has added piano to her arsenal–and a bit of soul.

The Mendenhall Quartet, 12:45 p.m. The Mendenhall Quartet is comprised of four women from across the country who are JAMM teachers, UAS students and Juneau Symphony members.

Ramiro Rivera and friend, 1 p.m.

Lou Nathanson, 1:15 p.m.

Emmett Williams, 1:30 p.m. Equal parts old school troubadour, punk rocker and alternative folksinger.

Andrew Cardella, 1:45 p.m. Andrew just finished playing drums for a touring band. He is heading back home to Haines now and is excited to play his new guitar made by Cosmo Fudge.

Destany Hawley and the Forerunners, 2 p.m. Anchorage band of young friends.

Shonti, Will and Trudy (SWAT) , 2:15 p.m.

Bodhi Nelson, 2:30 p.m.

Radish and Sprout, 2:45 p.m. Radish and Sprout brings new takes on standards from far away lands alongside close-to-home original compositions.

Monica Lettner, 3 p.m. Making up songs since she was a kid, now she embraces a career in Music Education and will be working with Girls Rock Camp Alaska for the third year.

Doyle Burnett, 3:15 p.m. Many years away from the Alaska Folk Festival – time again to re-connect with a few folk tunes from the past.

Richard Yospin, 3:30 p.m. Jazz standards, country blues and Chicago blues.

Evening Performances

Surreptitious Songbirds, 7 p.m. A crew of fourth through sixth graders from Montessori Borealis School.

Grant Dermody, 7:15 p.m. Solo harmonica and voice from the deep Northwest and the lower spleen.

Mary DeSmet, Greg Burger, Don Rudolph, 7:30 p.m. A mix of folk, bluegrass and jazz.

Tramwreck, 7:45 p.m.

Sea of Heartbreak, 8 p.m. A band made up of best friends residing throughout the Pacific Northwest trying to stay out of trouble and breaking hearts everywhere they go

The Easy Leaves, 8:15 p.m. Running at the front of the Country music herd in California, The Easy Leaves’ record, Fresno, continues their work as ambassadors of California Country

The Alabama Bow Ties, 8:30 p.m. Traditional bluegrass and some old country for good measure.

Kim Beggs , 8:45 p.m. Kim Beggs has now spent more than half her life living in the Yukon. Recently this singer songwriter has been recording her 5th solo album.

The Carper Family, 9 p.m. 2016 guest artists from Austin, Texas.
