Run or walk to support Hospice & Home Care

The 11th Annual Heart of Hospice Run is happening on Saturday morning at Twin Lakes.

Participants can either walk one mile or run five kilometers to support Hospice & Home Care of Juneau. The event starts at the Twin Lakes Shelter.

Hospice & Home Care of Juneau is part of Catholic Community Service. Skilled nurses provide at-home care to end-of-life patients or people recovering from cardiac problems or a stroke.

Registration for the event is between $20-$25 on race day. To get a discount, pre-register by 4 p.m. Friday at Catholic Community Service, Crossfit Juneau, Curves, Foggy Mountain Shop, Goals Gym, Hospice & Home Care of Juneau, Nugget Alaskan Outfitter, Pavitt Health & Fitness or UAS Rec Center.
