Child pornography

• At 10:51 a.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of possible child pornography. Confidential investigation continues.

Fire and medical

• On Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to seven EMS calls, a transport call, a false fire alarm on Mendenhall Loop Road and a call to University Drive that was cancelled en route.

Furnishing alcohol to a minor

• At 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Michele Norma Nelson, 49, was arrested for furnishing alcohol to a person under 21 years old. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Safekeeping

• At 9:22 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a call on Egan Drive, and three smartphones were turned into JPD for safekeeping.

Sexual abuse of a minor

• On 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a possible sexual abuse of a minor. Confidential investigation continues.

Theft

• At 3:37 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a possible theft of a cat in the 7700 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 3:31 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of shoplifting in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.
