Woman in critical condition after shooting at Anchorage home

ANCHORAGE — A woman is in critical condition after she was shot Tuesday night at a south Anchorage home.

Anchorage police took a report just after 6:30 p.m. that the woman had been shot in a condominium on Forest Village Drive near 88th Street. The address is within a block of Dimond High School.

Emergency responders found the wounded woman.

She was taken to a hospital.

Police say no suspect has been taken into custody.
