With snowfall, Eaglecrest begins winter hours

Eaglecrest Ski Area began its regular winter hours on Saturday.

The lodge will now be open from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday through Monday, with lifts running from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Hooter, Ptarmigan and Porcupine lifts were running on Saturday. The Snow Bus also began running on Saturday.

The main mountain is not groomed and is for advanced and expert skiers only, a release from the ski area warns.
