Public meeting on downtown construction May 1

Phase II of the City and Borough of Juneau’s Downtown Streets Improvement Project will begin soon, as well as Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities work on Egan Drive. A public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Hangar on the Wharf Ballroom.

CBJ and ADOT&PF will be present to provide information on both projects. Topics include construction schedules for 2018-2019, traffic changes and scope of work. Future ideas for street and sidewalk design for Phase III of CBJ’s Downtown Streets Improvement Project will also be discussed.
