For Sunday, Sept. 14

Traffic Stop

On Sunday at 1:01 a.m., on David Street, 50-year-old Jarrett Cherkas was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Motor Vehicle Collision without Injury

On Sunday at 2:52 a.m., on Front Street, 26-year-old Diane Timoteo was arrested for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and driving without a license, then taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Traffic Hazard

On Sunday at 4:43 a.m., on Egan Drive, 40-year-0ld Shelly McKinley was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving without a license, and refusal. The vehicle was impounded.

Trespassing in Vehicle or Vehicle Rifling

On Sunday at 8:05 a.m., on Teal Street, 38-year-old Leon Dennis Paul was arrested for theft and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Suspicious Activity Vehicle Subject Device

On Sunday at 10:09 a.m., on the Glacier Highway, 51-year-old Jereme Martuscelli was cited for driving without a license and violating conditions of release and released. The vehicle was impounded.

Arrest

On Sunday at 11:30 a.m., on Riverside Drive, 23-year-old Lilliana Demmert was arrested on 10 warrants from both Juneau Police Department and Alaska State Troopers, totaling $500, and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Motor Vehicle Collision without Injury

On Sunday at 9:43 p.m., on Goat Hill Road, report of a Capital Transit bus, driven by a 71-year-old man, in an accident with a Ford F250, driven by a 28-year-old man.

For Monday, Sept. 15

Death Investigation

On Monday at about 5:10 a.m., police responded to report about a 44-year-old deceased man. Next of kin was notified. Nothing was noted as suspicious.

Theft

On Monday at 5:32 a.m., on Allen Court, a 74-year-old man reported the theft of his wallet.

Found Property

On Monday at 2:36 p.m., on Alaway Avenue, a 65-year-old man abandoned some cash. It was placed into safekeeping at the Juneau Police Department

Police Assist

On Monday at 4:19 p.m., at Skaters Cabin Road, 42-year-old Jessica Lynn Pleasants was arrested on a $50 civil bench warrant for failure to appear and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Parking Complaint

On Monday at 10:12 p.m., on Valley Boulevard, case created for internal documentation purposes.

Theft

On Monday at 10:42 p.m., on Vintage Boulevard, 58-year-old Lance Cesar was cited for larceny and released.

For Tuesday, Sept. 16

Search and Rescue

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, Alaska State Troopers were notified at around 8:10 p.m. about a search and rescue involving two adult males who had fallen from the Mount Roberts trail and slid down the steep mountainside. The men were passengers on a cruise ship and were visiting Juneau. One of the men was extracted by Juneau Mountain Rescue (JMR) and had minor injuries. The second man, 36-year-old Britian Pool, of Texas, had slid further down the mountain and was located by drones operated by JMR, troopers, the Juneau Police Department, and Alaska Department of Transportation. Pool was deceased from injuries sustained during the fall. Troopers and JMR volunteers recovered his body. Pool’s remains were taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office, and his next of kin was notified. SEADOGS and Capital City Fire/Rescue also contributed to search and rescue efforts.

Suicidal Subject

On Tuesday at 12:14 a.m., confidential response to a suicidal subject.

Theft

On Tuesday at 2:13 p.m., on Teal Street, a 38-year-old woman reported a 2010 silver Toyota Corolla stolen from a local business.

Previous Theft

On Tuesday at 2:32 p.m., on Dimond Park Loop, case created for federal reporting purposes based on previous theft.

Child Abuse or Neglect

On Tuesday at about 3:10 p.m., confidential investigation into possible child abuse.

Theft

On Tuesday at 3:59 p.m., on the Glacier Highway, a 77-year-old man reported a 29-year-old man stole a donation jar.

Traffic Complaint

On Tuesday at 4:45 p.m., 39-year-old Jessy James Wolfe was cited for driving while license revoked and released.
