Attempt to Serve

At 3:01 p.m. on Wednesday, 57-year-old Michelle Ann Bennett was arrested on Franklin Street on a $200 Alaska State Troopers warrant for violating conditions of release on an original charge of driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a test.

At 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, 45-year-old Robert James Paul Jr. was arrested on Shell Simmons Drive on a $100 AST warrant on an original charge of misconduct involving use of a controlled substance.

Death Investigation

At 8:23 p.m. on Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of a 67-year-old female. Next of kin has been notified.

Motor Vehicle Collision With Injury

At 6:01 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident. A person was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for evaluation.

Sex Crime

At 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD began a confidential investigation of a sexual assault.
