Police calls for Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018

Burglary

• At 12:16 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 8300 block of Old Dairy Road to investigate a burglary at a Juneau business.

• At 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 8300 block of Old Dairy Road to investigate the report of a theft of a firearm from a business. Investigation continues.

Domestic violence

• At 4:54 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of the violation of a domestic violence order in the Juneau area.

• At 8:31 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a 20-year-old man in the Juneau area for criminal mischief domestic violence and took him to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 12:58 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 6500 block of Glacier Highway for a multiple vehicle crash at Glacier Highway near Walmart. Damage only, no injuries.

• At 2:49 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road for the report of a woman, 61, who reported her 2002 GMC Envoy was struck and damaged while parked.

• At 8:52 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue for a two-vehicle collision. A 27-year-old woman was injured in the crash and was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital. Her vehicle was impounded for safekeeping.

Sex crime

• At 4:54 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a sexual assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 2:46 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of a woman, 43, who reported the theft of a coat and cellphone. The items were later recovered.

• At 4:42 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a theft of a laptop computer in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
