For Monday, Aug. 19

Assault

At 6:10 p.m. on Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of an 18-year-old female assaulting a 60-year-old male on Churchhill Way.

Shots Fired

At 1:03 a.m. on Monday, JPD responded to a report of shots fired on Tongass Boulevard and determined a vehicle had been vandalized. There was no sign shots had been fired.

Theft

At 8:12 a.m. on Monday, a 43-year-old male reported a 1995 Toyota 4Runner was stolen on Marine Way.

At 11:18 a.m. on Monday, a 37-year-old female reported a car stolen on Glacier Highway. The vehicle was later recovered and 27-year-old Lyle Martin was arrested for vehicle theft. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
