Notice to Capital Transit riders

Due to construction on the Alaska State Capitol, Fourth Street will be closed to through traffic, disrupting Capital Transit bus service.

Service will be discontinued to the downtown library, Franklin and Front Streets, and Fourth Street stops on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017. No stops will be made on Franklin and Fourth for the duration of this project. Please wait for the bus at the Downtown Transportation Center.

This is only a one-day stoppage; service will resume on Saturday, Sept. 2.
