North Slope Police seek suspect who shot gun at officers

ANCHORAGE — Police in Barrow are searching for a man suspected of firing a gun at officers.

The North Slope Borough Police Department said officers are looking for 27-year-old Herbert Adams in connection to the incident.

Police at about 6 p.m. Monday took a call of shots fired at a home.

When officers arrived, shots directed at officers rang out from the home.

No one was injured.

Police said the suspect fled and remains at large.

They said the suspect is armed and dangerous.

Police said they’ve sought assistance from Alaska State Troopers to find the shooter.
