Nonprofit Nature Conservancy was burglarized, police say

The Juneau Police Department is seeking help in solving a burglary that happened in mid-March.

On March 12, the Nature Conservancy, located at 416 Harris St. reported, to JPD that its office had been burglarized sometime in the past few previous days, according to a JPD release. Cash, a Dell laptop and multiple hard drives were missing, according to the release. and the items were estimated to be worth $2,300.

The Nature Conservancy is an international nonprofit that works to protect ecologically important lands and waters.

Anybody who knows anything about the burglary is asked to call JPD at 586-0600 or Juneau Crime Line at 523-7700, or go to http://juneaucrimeline.com. Crime Line is a nonprofit that assists police departments in their investigations. Tipsters are guaranteed anonymity, and might be eligible for a reward.
