Nominate a deserving principal for regional award

Do you know a principal deserving of some recognition for his or her work?

The Alaska Association of Secondary School Principals is inviting the public to nominate a principal and assistant principal for the 2017 Regional Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year Awards.

The nomination process is simple. Regional Principals of the Year may be nominated by anyone — students, staff, parents, district office staff or principal peers.

All nominations must be a Principal/Assistant Principal member of AASSP/NASSP at the time of nomination and selection and must have been a principal for three or more years. Nominations that meet all above criteria will be included in the ballot for each region.

Nominations are accepted online. Go to alaskaprincipal.org to find links to the nomination form. The results will be sent to the designated AASSP region director, who coordinate the voting/selection process. Selection of the award recipients are made by current AASSP members in each region.

Nominations are due by Friday.
