Motorcycle driver dies on busy Eagle River street

ANCHORAGE — Anchorage police say a motorcycle driver is dead following a collision with a pickup in Eagle River.

Police just after 1 p.m. Friday took a report of the crash on the Old Glenn Highway near a restaurant, Carl’s Jr.

The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver’s name was not immediately released.
