Master gardeners to share hands-on knowledge

Learn tips and techniques from Alaska master gardeners during a March 12 class in Juneau.

Through hands-on activities, experienced gardeners will share techniques for planning and starting a vegetable garden, growing vegetables inside your home or greenhouse, and starting seeds.

The class, hosted by the Southeast Master Gardeners Association and the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service, is free and open to the public. It’s from 9 a.m. to noon on March 12 at the Zach Gordon Youth Center.
