Timothy Staley makes Dean’s List

Timothy Staley (2016 JDHS) was named to the Spring 2019 Dean’s List (3.9) and earned his Instrument Flight Rating (IFR). Staley is enrolled in the Bachelor of Aviation-Professional Piloting and Aviation Administration program at Westminster College in Salt Lake City.

Juneau-raised man named as new Chief Financial Officer

Residential Mortgage on Monday announced the hiring of a new Chief Financial Officer. Chris Hamey joins Residential Mortgage with 15 years of experience in accounting and audit through his career in Alaska.

A lifelong Alaskan, Hamey was born and raised in Juneau before moving to Anchorage to attend the University of Alaska Anchorage. Most recently he was the Accounting Manager at Chugach Alaska Corporation. He has also worked for Klondike Advertising, Inlet Petroleum Company and KPMG. Hamey holds a bachelor of science degree in English and a bachelor of science in accounting, both from UAA. He volunteers as a youth basketball coach at the Anchorage Community YMCA.
