Abandoned vehicle

At 3:55 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD impounded a 2000 Volkswagen in the 3300 block of Nowell Place.

Assault

At 1:21 a.m. on Thursday, a 21-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence- assault and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

Child abuse/neglect

At 4:29 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of child abuse.

Disturbance

At 4:49 p.m. on Wednesday, a 54-year-old woman reported a disturbance between three men aged in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was a factor.

Warrant arrest

At 11:46 p.m. on Wednesday, 33-year-old Joshua Deitz was arrested on an Alaska State Troopers warrant in the 5400 block of Egan Drive and additionally charged with resisting arrested and assault on a peace officer. Deitz was taken to LCCC.

Traffic stop

At 11:46 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD investigated a failure to stop in the 5400 block of Egan Drive.
