Abandoned vehicle

At 8:08 a.m. on Wednesday, a 2007 Honda Odyssey in the 8500 block of Forest Lane was impounded for safekeeping.

Assault

At 2:04 p.m. on Tuesday, 23-year-old Theodore Juan Isaako Galletes was arrested for assault, resisting arrest and criminal mischief ion the 3400 block of Foster Avenue and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

Child abuse/neglect

At 3:12 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD investigated a report of child abuse.

Death

At 5:07 a.m. on Wednesday, JPD investigated the death of a 37-year-old man in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue. The death is not considered suspicious and the next of kin has been notified.

Disturbance

At 4:11 a.m. on Wednesday, JPD documented a disturbance downtown.

Driving while intoxicated

At 11:41 p.m. on Tuesday, 44-year-old Andrew Jeff Daniels was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal mischief on the 2800 block of Marsha Avenue with a breath alcohol content of .229 and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Shoplifting

At 4:46 p.m. on Tuesday, a 58-year-old man reported a 34-year-old woman shoplifted at a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Theft

At 7:58 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD investigated a possible case of fraud in the 3500 block of Tongass Boulevard.

Trespass

At 12:39 p.m. on Tuesday, 32-year-old Monika Jay Escajeda was arrested for criminal trespass and resisting arrest on Mendenhall Mall Road and taken to LCCC.

At 9:58 a.m. on Wednesday, 44-year-old Timothy Earl Ebona was arrested for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release on the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard and taken to LCCC.

Vandalism

At 8:08 p.m. on Tuesday, a 41-year-old man reported the windshield of his vehicle was damaged by a thrown rock on the 3600 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Warrant arrest

At 9:56 p.m. on Tuesday, 54-year-old Lance Christian Cesar was arrested on a JPD warrant in the 1900 block of Allen Court and taken to LCCC.

At 8:01 a.m. on Wednesday, 32-year-old Keoko Lillian Nelson was arrested on a JPD warrant in the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue and taken to LCCC.
