Bartlett Regional Hospital’s lockdown was lifted after the Juneau Police Department made contact with the individual who made the threat and determined it wasn’t credible, a hospital spokesperson said in an email.

“The Bartlett Regional Hospital lockdown has been lifted by Chief Executive Officer Chuck Bill. The Juneau Police Department made contact with the individual who made the threat and determined it was not credible,” said BRH spokesperson Katie Bausler in an email Thursday night. “They then consulted with the district and city attorneys offices who confirmed that no crime had been committed.”

BRH was locked down Thursday afternoon after receiving a threat, Bausler said.

JPD did not immediately return calls or messages seeking comment.
