Picking up after pets is right thing to do

I just picked up around 20 pounds of dog waste from my yard and the strip of city property that abuts it.

In my travels around downtown, I find the whole town awash in dog waste. This is a plea for dog owners to pick up after their pets. It is not only disgusting but unhealthy. Bring a bag with you and pick it up. I know it’s unpleasant (because I do it), but it’s the right thing to do.
