Thunder Mountain High School junior Puna Toutaiolepo is the Juneau Empire’s player of the week.

The 5-foot-11, 220-pound forward is averaging 11 points over the last three games, all TMHS wins. Toutaiolepo scored 18 points in a 77-67 win over Ketchikan two weeks ago and 12 points on Saturday against Mt. Edgecumbe High School.

Toutaiolepo and the Falcons return to action Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. against the Ketchikan Kings.

Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated TMHS plays Ketchikan on Saturday at 6 p.m. The two teams square off at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
