Juneau area groomed Nordic trails:

• Eaglecrest Upper Loop:

Good for skate and classic skiing. Warm air temperatures; snow temperatures are cooler. Trickster access softer than last week but chunky as of Feb. 21.

• Mendenhall Glacier Campground:

As of Jan. 12, yellow speed bumps are starting to show through the ice; the Juneau Nordic Ski Club has stopped grooming until the area gets more snow.

• Montana Creek Road:

A hundred yards below the landslide and the rest of the way up is outstanding skate skiing. Groomed as of Wednesday morning.
