Barn dances kick off 26th season

The 26th Annual Juneau Barn Dance season kicks off Saturday night, Sept. 26, at St. Ann’s Parish Hall, 5th Street downtown. The dance runs from 7:30-11 p.m. and will feature Susie Kendig calling contra dances to live music by the Groundhogs string band.

No experience or partner are needed.

Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for AFF and JIF members, $5 for students and seniors, and free for JVs and Americorp. Barn dances are affiliated with Juneau International Folkdancers.
