Assist

At 1:46 p.m. on Monday, Juneau Police Department assisted another agency with an investigation in the Juneau area.

At 7:58 p.m. on Monday, JPD assisted pre-trial enforcement with a remand in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive.

At 11:49 p.m. on Monday, a case was made to document an agency assist in the 800 block of Franklin Street.

Driving While Intoxicated

At 5:21 p.m. on Monday, 41-year-old Norman Mickelson was arrested on Mendenhall Loop Road for driving while impaired and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. He was additionally charged with refusal, and the vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

Harassment

At 2:52 p.m. on Monday, 29-year-old Monte Skon Nix was arrested in the 500 block of Franklin Street for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was taken to LCCC.

Motor Vehicle Crash Damage Only

At 8:08 a.m. on Tuesday, a 61-year-old man was driving a 2016 bus when they backed into a parked and unoccupied 2020 Chevrolet in the 2200 block of Trout Street.

Motor Vehicle Crash Injury

At 1:58 p.m. on Monday, a citation was given to a 36-year-old man for his involvement in a collision in the 200 block of Main Street while driving a 2006 Dodge R15 pickup. The other driver was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for injuries.

Theft

At 4:23 p.m. on Monday, a 64-year-old man reported the theft of a wallet in the Juneau area.

At 11:28 p.m. on Monday, a 34-year-old woman reported her 2006 Pontiac was stolen in the 2500 block of Douglas Highway and officers determined this to be a civil issue.

Warrant arrest

At 4:12 p.m. on Monday, 41-year-old Jennifer Sume McAllister was arrested on Teal Street on a $1500 warrant for failure to appear for arraignment for the original charge of violating conditions of release. McAllister was taken to LCCC.
