Animal

At 11:19 p.m. on Wednesday, Juneau Police Department responded to a deceased bear in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Disturbance

At 10:23 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD responded to a man throwing luggage at passing vehicles in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Motor vehicle crash

At 4:08 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD received a report that a 2018 Toyota Corolla was struck by an unknown vehicle in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.

At 8:34 a.m. on Thursday, a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old man struck a vehicle driven by a different 23-year-old man in the 9400 block of Berners Avenue.

Theft

At 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, a 27-year-old woman reported a 26-year-old man stole her phone in the 6300 block of Glacier Highway.

Traffic stop

At 2:33 p.m. on Wednesday, 29-year-old Cory Dell Hansen was cited and released for driving without a license and violating conditions of release in the 8700 block of Teal Street.

At 7:35 p.m. on Wednesday, 23-year-old Christian Anthony Orazio was cited and released for driving with suspended license in the 2400 block of Egan Drive and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Trespass

At 1:18 p.m. on Wednesday, 25-year-old Valarie Mae Hotch-Torres was cited and released for criminal trespass on the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
