Animal

At 11:05 p.m. on Sunday, Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a bear in a garage in the 6700 block of Sherri Street. The bear left the area.

Burglary

At 9:16 p.m. on Sunday, a 60-year-old man reported a burglary in the 3900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Death

At 4:46 p.m. on Sunday, JPD conducted a death investigation in the 1200 block of Harbor Way. Details have not yet been released as next of kin has not yet been notified.

Domestic dispute

At 4:46 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.

At 7:55 p.m. on Sunday, a 44-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence-assault and criminal mischief. The man was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Stolen property

At 4:37 p.m. on Sunday a 65-year-old man reported a man stole his phone in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was a factor.

Theft

At 11:37 p.m. on Sunday, a case was made for theft from a business in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

Trespassing

At 10:29 p.m. on Sunday, a case was made for a woman shoplifting at a business in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

Violating conditions of release

At 12:47 p.m. on Sunday, a 30-year-old man was arrested for unlawful contact and violating conditions of release. He was taken to LCCC.
