Child abuse

At 1:55 p.m. on Monday, Juneau Police Department investigated a report of child abuse.

Conditions violation

At 5:02 p.m. on Monday, a 22-year-old man was arrested for violating conditions of release and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

Death

At 1:14 p.m. on Monday, JPD investigated a death in the 4300 block of Conifer Lane. The death is not considered suspicious and the next of kin has been notified.

Found property

At 4:55 p.m. on Monday, a cellphone found in the 3400 block of Tongass Boulevard was turned in for safekeeping.

Fraud/forgery

At 12:28 p.m. on Monday, JPD investigated a report of fraud.

At 12:14 p.m. on Monday, JPD investigated a report of fraud in the 9200 block of Glacier Highway.

Shoplifting

At 6:12 p.m. on Monday, a 37-year-old man reported a woman shoplifted from a local business in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.
