Toy Run ready to ride

It’s almost time for the 23rd annual Panhandlers Motorcycle Club Toy Run.

Here’s how it works: Contribute one, new stuffed toy or $10 cash. Stuffed toys may also be left at the downtown Triangle Club or Louie’s in Douglas. All toys will be donated to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Starting at 1 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 6, bikers make the impressive run from Donna’s Restaurant in the valley to a BBQ at the Douglas Fire Hall, where donations are also taken. A barbeque will be hosted by Capital City Fire/Rescue from 2-4 p.m. All bikers and supporters are welcome.
