Wall strong on the mound as Thunder Mountain beats Ketchikan 3-2

Zeb Storie, Chris San Nicholas and Riley Olsen scored for the Thunder Mountain High School baseball team in a Friday night 3-2 win over Ketchikan at Adair-Kennedy Field. Philip Wall pitched a complete game for TMHS while Jack Carson did the same for Ketchikan.

Wall recorded seven strike outs in his second home start of the season. Carson struck out five, walked four and allowed four hits.

“Runs were tough to come by because both pitchers pitched well,” TMHS coach Bill Macauley said.

The Kings scored in the first and third innings. All the Falcons’ runs came in the third inning.

The teams played a doubleheader on Saturday.
