Theater finds slithery surprise

A double showing of the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” brought plenty of unusual sights to the Gold Town Nickelodeon over the weekend, but the biggest surprise might have been the six-foot snake found as the evening ended.

On Twitter, the theater shared a picture of the snake captured in a clear plastic box capped with a theater sign and a heavy bag to hold the sign in place.

According to Collette Costa, Gold Town Theater manager, the snake was found in her office. 

A tweet from the theater declared: “A perfect 4 a.m. finish to a Rocky Horror Picture Show is when you find a 6-foot snake in your space.”
