Police: Death of man from gunshot wound near glacier not suspicious

A man died Sunday after falling off a fishing charter boat in Barlow Cove, located directly west of Auke Bay, according to the Alaska State Troopers. No foul play is suspected. (Map by the U.S. Forest Service)

Body found near Indian Cove dock early Sunday

Police are investigating, and the state medical examiner will perform an autopsy.

When the final numbers come in, the disease may be fourth or fifth leading cause of death in-state.
