Women’s hockey jamboree enjoys 13th year

One of the longest running annual events taking place at Treadwell Ice Arena wrapped up over the weekend.

The Juneau Jamboree women’s hockey tournament enjoyed its 13th year of hockey that attracted 100 players from throughout Alaska, the Yukon Territory and Lower 48 states as far as North Carolina.

Eight teams, balanced according to skill level by tournament organizers, competed Friday-Sunday, playing four games each.
