Every Tuesday through Nov. 3, Basketball Officials Meeting from 6-8 p.m., room C-105 at Thunder Mountain High School. Discussion of rules & mechanics as preparation for the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) certification exam. All interested in officiating are encouraged to attend. For more information call Joel Osburn 209-7897. Time to put the Marvelous Mystery Oil on whistles and dust off the zebra stripes. High school basketball officials are in demand this season.

Home, The HoopTime Basketball Program is taking registration for players in 4th-8th grades. The 2016 HoopTime season starts January 2. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration deadline is Dec. 13. Late registration will be accepted only if room is available with a $25 late fee. Register at www.hooptime.org or mail in check to P.O. Box 33606, Juneau, AK, 99803. For more information contact Rhoda Yadao at 723-3734. A free HoopTime open gym will be held at TMHS gym Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon so families can meet coaches, get information and play basketball.
