Basketball refs needed

The Juneau-Douglas Officials Association is looking for officials for the 2016-2017 basketball season. The JDOA encourages adults with previous officiating experience, former basketball players, coaches, sports enthusiasts or anyone interested in improving the level of sportsmanship in local middle and high school athletics to become an official. Training will be provided and schedules are flexible.

Pre-season trainings are Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 4 through Nov. 1 at Thunder Mountain High School, room C-105. Please call Joel Osburn at 209-7897 for more information or to sign up.
