School board, Assembly candidates talk issues ahead of Oct. 5 election.

Watch the video below to learn more about the candidates running for local office in the Oct. 5 municipal election.

At 7 p.m., the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Juneau — in cooperation with the Empire and KTOO — will host a Municipal Candidates Forum.

The Empire is co-moderating the event with KTOO. The Empire previously published candidate questionnaires shared by the league, profiles of candidates and information about the tax return question that will appear on this year’s ballots.
