Opinion: Congress works for pharmaceutical companies, not us

Candidates for Congress make all kinds of promises for about what they will do for us if we elect them.

Congress passed laws prohibiting less-costly prescriptions from other countries, such as Canada. Congress also passed a law prohibiting Medicare from soliciting bids from pharmaceutical companies to lower the cost of prescription drugs for us. It is clear to me that Congress works for the pharmaceutical companies, not for us.
